Who is Eligible for Aadhar Enrollment?

Any resident of India, Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or any foreign citizen living in India are eligible to apply for Aadhar Card. Even a New Born Baby can Apply for Aadhar Card but there is One Condition A child of age less than 3 years does not need to provide biometric information like Finger Prints and Retina Scan because in this case Aadhar of New Born Baby will be linked to the parents or guardian of that child.

When Child reached the age of 5 He/she Need to Provide his/her Biometric Information again at Nearest Aadhar Centre.

  • Before You start Filling Aadhar Application Form Read all Guidelines while Filling aadhar Application Form to avoid any Mistakes Because If you made Mistakes than You need to do Aadhar Correction if Few of your Details Printed Wrong in Aadhar Card and It’s Time-Consuming Process. So, It’s Better to avoid Mistakes at the Time of Aadhar Enrollment.
  • After Aadhar Application Fill up Process You need to Submit the Form With Required Documents as ID Proof.
  • At the time of enrollment, your photo, fingerprints and iris scan will be taken at the center itself. Don’t Forget to Provide Latest Coloured Passport size Photograph of Yours as Record. The Same Photo will be Printed on Your Aadhar Card.
  • Before You Submit the Application Carefully recheck all the details you have provided and make proper corrections, if any, during the enrollment itself.
  • When you Submit your Aadhar Application Form with all necessary Documents and Biometrics you will receive an acknowledgment slip (Also Called as Aadhar Enrolment Slip) which Contains Your EID (Enrolment ID), Date and Time of enrollment, Registered Mobile number etc, till the time you don’t receive your original Aadhar Card via Post.
  • This Aadhar Enrollment Slip can be Helpful When You want to check Aadhar Card Status Online and Download Eaadhar (Duplicate/Soft copy of Aadhar Card) online. So, Make sure Don’t Lose that Slip.
  • All your information and details will be verified centrally at UIDAI Office before you are issued original Aadhaar Card.
  • Once verification is Done, you will first receive an SMS or email notification and later after a few days your Aadhaar number will be printed and sent to your address through post. MeanWhile, If you wish You can Track Aadhar Card Status Online.

Documents Required for Aadhar Verification as ID Proof

When You Submit Aadhar Application Form You need to Attach one ID Document for Verification Purpose. Only ONE Document is Enough for Submission. Here is a Small List of Eligible Document as ID Proof.

Voter ID Card, Passport, PAN Card, Bank Passbook Status, Credit Card, Ration Card, Driving License, Address Card having Name and Photo issued by Department of Posts, NREGS Job Card, Kisan Photo Passbook, Electricity Bill (not older than 3 months), Water bill (not older than 3 months), Telephone Landline Bill (not older than 3 months), Property Tax Receipt (not older than 1 year), Insurance Policy, Freedom Fighter Card, Vehicle Registration Certificate, Gas Connection Bill (not older than 3 months), Mark sheet issued by any Government Board or University, Birth Certificate, MNREGA Job Card, Marriage Certificate Issued by the Government, Any other Central/State government issued family entitlement document.
